The concept

Bladesmiths spend 40 hours making a custom knife, then track it on a janky Google Sheet that has no idea what a quench plate is. Hilt is the build journal that feels like a leather-bound shop book — photo-first timelines, heat-treat profiles for common steels, and customer specs in one place. When a knife is done, Hilt generates a customer-facing "story page" the buyer can frame.
